Open House at Tulane University, April 20-21, 2011

LA-SiGMA faculty and graduate students at Tulane University opened their labs to 38 high school freshmen, 27 high school sophomores and juniors, and 3 teachers from Abramson Science and Technology Charter School. Graduate students led five demonstrations where students learned about Materials Science and participated in hands-on learning activities. The activities included Surface Modification, Electrochemistry, Solar Power, Ideal Gas Law, and Computational Demo.
