Dr. Watson gives workshop to GLAMS at Arkansas Community College, May 17, 2011
| On May 17, Dr. Melanie G. Watson was invited to South Arkansas Community College for the Girls Learning About Math and Science: GLAMS conference to perform a laboratory activity called "Strawberry DNA." Several eighth grade girls participated in the laboratory activity. The students successfully extracted DNA from strawberries, as displayed in the pictures, using common household ingredients. |
