Faculty Positions
As advertised in Science and the Chronicle of Higher Education, LONI member universities (Louisiana State University, Louisiana Tech University, Southern University, Tulane University, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and the University of New Orleans) were seeking applications for 12 faculty positions, in computational science, computational materials science, and computational biology. Most of those positions have been filled. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to: materials theory and modeling, polymer design, nanocomposites, chip design/fabrication, MEMs, mixed scale flows, metagenomics, structural biology, computational biofluid mechanics, algorithms and software for complex scientific applications, visualization, distributed data management, scheduling services, and scientific computing.
